Things I learnt this weekend

So the big freeze in London is finally over. We had a double whammy of sessions. Ballet hill on Saturday and Hyde Park on Sunday.
I saw we. I was not present for I was ill with a flu.
So to make up for it, I went skating after work on Monday. It had rained. My board is made of 9plys of very dry wood. Think hard sponge.

- riding your board, whatever the weather is fun

- having to carry said board when it is dripping with anonymous filth - not so much. (especially when it feels double it’s dry weight)

Weekend before last, I went to a film festival. The director of the shining said this about a film about basketball. He made this comment - I am not a fan of basketball and I never will be. But this film touched me and I could appreciate the camaraderie shared by these athletes.

- I want this for longboarding

- I want people to be able to enjoy what we do, by us sharing our stories

- trickporn videos are great.

- narrative is better.
