That dog! That bloody dog! Oh fires of heaven, I beseech thee smite this foul creature.
If you remember, a few weeks ago, I got chased and near-enough bitten by this tiny little on my way to ballet hill.
Well yesterday, on my way to the mid-week session, another animal gave chase but I remembered to separate myself from the situation before it turned ugly. And sure enough this thing bit my wheel after I jumped off.
Then it got interesting. The lady who owned it said, ”oh no sorry, it’s you again”, then it all came back. This was the same mangy canine that gave chase that evening. She said the dog was a bit depressed/unruly, her partner owned the dog, he had passed away and she had to look after it, but he (edgar the dog) didn’t respond to her so she was trying to give it away.
I felt a bit sorry for her at this point and didn’t even complain when I had to walk for about 2 minutes until little Ed couldn’t see me anymore.
It just sucks that they appear to live in my neighbourhood - so this may not be our last encounter.
Next time I’m going to try to outrun it. Or not die trying.
That is all.
